Co- Pastor Yvonne Emerson
Yvonne Emerson is the Co-Pastor of Now Faith Christian Center Church in Denver, Colorado. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and is the seventh of seven children. After graduating high school, she relocated to Denver, where she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and later met and married Leon M. Emerson. She became an ordained minister in 1983 and serves alongside her husband in the ministry, praying, uplifting, and prophesying into the lives of God’s people.
She is an exciting preacher, teacher, and songstress. This vibrant woman of God teaches the weekly bible study class, and travels extensively preaching and teaching the word of God. She has a unique ability to reach her audience in a compelling and unconventional way. The success of her balanced life is attributed to her wisdom through prayer, devotion, and obedience.
Co-Pastor Yvonne is a woman of Godly standard and is often sought by women all over the world for Godly counsel for her insight. Her warm, loving, and caring nature is the magnet that draws people to her. This exceptional woman of God aspires to see women know who they are in Christ. This compelled her to create Women of Righteous Destination (WORD) ─ a woman’s outreach designed to help women through issues, but most importantly, to encourage women to take their place in God, not to conform to stereotypes, and to be righteous!
